I wrote this blog post in 2018 during a time in which Gearco (the company who hired me to write) was suffering a growing list of clientele who resisted social media, social networks, and online social interaction in general. Thus, I authored this blog post as a kind of persuasive essay on the merits of engaging others through social media, or worse, the penalty for not.
